Join us for a thrilling week of competitions, education, and celebration of bassets in October 2025!
Participate in exciting trials on Friday .
Join us for the a week filled with fun and educational member events kicking off with the Welcome party Monday October 13th. Also join us for member educations sessions, Hurl-a-hare, the annual meeting and finally Celebrate our members and achievements at the awards banquet at the hotel.
Hospitality, Education and Fun
Participate in exciting trials Saturday through Sunday.
Participate in exciting scent work trials Sunday and Monday. *2 are all breed trials each day (bassets given priority)
Participate in tracking on Sunday, October 12th
(All Breed Trial with bassets given preference)
Participate in Rally Monday and Tuesday
Participate in Agility Wednesday and Thursday
(*all breed trials with bassets given priority)
Juniors Events
Participate in exciting obedience trials Monday and Tuesday
Participate in an array of conformation and specialty shows throughout the week. Including BHC of Western PA Specialty, Badgerland BHC Specialty, Futurity/Maturity, Sweeps, Dogs, Bitches, Intersex, Juniors
There will be Conformation Certification event held on Monday Oct 13, 2015 after all judging is completed. The basic requirements for a Conformation Certificate are; the owner must be a member of the BHCA, the dog/bitch must be neutered, the Basset cannot have a disqualifying fault. Complete program requirements can be found here. Entries will be limited to four Bassets. If you are interested in obtaining a Conformation Certificate on your Basset (all pages in pdf format) must be emailed to debhatt@emerytelcom.net no later than September 20, 2025. Entries will be accepted on a first received basis.

Thurs, Oct 16, 2025 - Bitches, *Agility All Breed, Judges Education, Annual Meeting after judging at Purina.
Fri, Oct 17, 2025 - Intersex, Juniors, Parade, Awards Banquet at hotel
